I learned today that another of my dad's friends died of cancer.
Last time I saw him he was so alive. He was getting better. His hair was growing back. Now, I'm being asked to write something in his memory. We weren't close, but I'd known him off and on since I was 7; and it troubles me ( Read more... )

There's this sweet little girl who loves my dogs so much and always comes over to pet them and get licked by them.
Usually she just stands there squeeing over them and being randomly adorable.

This morning though, she stopped staring at the dogs and looked at me, saying "your eyes are so beautiful, you're so beautiful". I had no idea how to respond ( Read more... )

Weird dream. It's at least the second time I've had it. The events are pretty much the same though the actors have changed (guy trying/ordered to kill me was Jonathan Rhys Meyers and now it's that weird-blue-eyed black-haired boy from Batman Begins and Cold Mountain)  and the settings are also slightly altered.
