We have a date for leaving NZ.
The people at Oak Ridge National Laboratory want kittyfarmer to start on 16 July. This won't happen, as I still haven't sorted my visa, so we are going to be leaving the country on or around the first of August.
My passport application is in. Once I have it, I can apply for the visa.
Our farewell party will be PHUGE, and will probably be held at the House of Moop. If you're reading this, and you know the address, come along! If you are reading this, and you don't know the address, but know someone who does, come along! From the looks of things, it will be on the 7th of July from mid-afternoon onwards, so the people with small children or who have transport issues can come along too.

EDIT: I'm not leaving forever. The job will only last two years, so we'll definitely be coming back to Wellington after that. Just in case people didn't know... :)
