That was the point, I'm glad it came across the way I wanted.

This fic idea was seeded a few weeks ago, I think. It was on fanficrants, someone was complaining about badslash mentioned our pairingin passing (not in a ranty way). She (because most people involved with fic seem to be female) said it was an intruiging (and cute I think) pairing, but most fics don't address that Sam has millions of years of biology compelling him to...screw Mikaela and then the cultural taboos and indoctrination he'd be going against

I find they mostly rant about badfic. I get a bit irritated with some of them. There was one, a FF7 lifestream vs promised land rant and I was "...whut

Yeah, but some of the "That'd NEVER happen" rants are spot on. There's a ton of badfic out there. And truthfully, sometimes get plunnied when I venture out

Hmm...Is it still an OT3 if it's Bee/Sam, Mikaela/Sam, Mikaela/Bee all existing relationships but never Mikaela/Bee/Sam? Though I'm getting images of "Bee's Harem" silliness.

With Sam they just kinda 'clicked,' and fit together. With Mikaela I get the impression that they made the bond. You make friends all the time, but there are some people that you hit it off right away before you even speak to each other, that's what Sam and Bee have, in my mind at least.

And yes, friends, allies at least. If not friends then a lack of bad feelings between them.
