Yeah, but some of the "That'd NEVER happen" rants are spot on. There's a ton of badfic out there. And truthfully, sometimes get plunnied when I venture out.

(I'm glad, I'm never certain if I am, so I ramble trying to define it.)

I look at the movie and I note that Mikaela has activly done more for Bee, I think. I find it amusing that Sam was doing a lot of the typical girl things reaching out calling for his name but being unable to do anything, the comforting with his voice thing. While Mikaela was hauling him out of the rubble, tying him up, and driving him into battle.

Sam is his friend. Mikaela is a fellow warrior? There's a bit of distance there but closeness too. I don't know where I'm going, I haven't been sleeping well. But let me just say when I get into Bee's head his way of thinking/feeling on this issue are pretty alien.

If they had a messy breakup? Bee'd do his level best to get them to be friends again. And he'd still be friends with both of them.

Bee doesn't DO abandonment.

And Miles wondering how Sam...changed so much so quickly.

Hmm...Is it still an OT3 if it's Bee/Sam, Mikaela/Sam, Mikaela/Bee all existing relationships but never Mikaela/Bee/Sam? Though I'm getting images of "Bee's Harem" silliness.

With Sam they just kinda 'clicked,' and fit together. With Mikaela I get the impression that they made the bond. You make friends all the time, but there are some people that you hit it off right away before you even speak to each other, that's what Sam and Bee have, in my mind at least.

And yes, friends, allies at least. If not friends then a lack of bad feelings between them.
