On-call this week but “off” today due to company holiday. Relaxing, cooking/household stuff
coming off one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. Early evening email check revealed no burning issues.

EDIT: Now up to three calls in Dixie. Fuck.

I predict a lighter tour of duty than the past as the machines have quieted down but two calls
have popped up as I started writing -so no telling. Birk is going to shadow so Ops will call both of us when
a problem pops up. I hope to have him and McReefer rotation ready by the end of January.

Normally at the end of fourth quarter, things wind down in order to protect year-end and beginning of the
year processing but it looks like the beast will continue churning like a margarita machine filled with slushy booze.

Instead of stopping in December, management will petition even higher up management for exclusion

Slight commotion towards the end of the day with Wallair fretting over his D.C.Hex project.
Breckenbrew, McReefer were also involved, then he went over to Birk -the college grad to see if he
could help with some sort of programming. No luck.

Enjoying the breathing room while the storage group get's cookin' with the first pair of boxes -about 210TB.
Next up is six boxes -two in Dtown, four in Dixie [two are replication targets, two are local use].
Once turned over, that should keep them really busy.
