Work went quiet and quick - I actually got some things done while goofing off. Monday is when everything gets back to “normal”. Let’s see if the big dollar projects get approved this month or if it gets drug out into the end of February.
Piling on the Metal
Monday, I found out that my apartment’s gym is going to shut down for two weeks of renovations. In reality, that means 3-4 weeks and I’m just now getting back into things after the holidays, being sick, etc and don’t need further setbacks.
At first, I thought I’d scam week trial memberships at various gyms to get me through it but when I analyzed the time saved by working out at a gym close to the office rather than driving home, dealing with traffice, distractions at home and then working out - there was a benefit to getting a gym membership - which includes some reimbursement from InfiddleVestCorp. I’ll get back about 3-5 hours a week. That’s more time for reading, taking care of personal stuff, etc.
This could be a good change of pace/scenery. Now I get to deal with all the sales pitches but these Jedis are weak with the force. It really screws with them when you’re not fixated on price or going “Wow!” over everything.
