Purgatory Week Day 4
I slept late and somewhat embraced New Year’s Day tradition by having curried black-eyed peas at Taj Mahal, which really stick to your ribs but I found that a couple of beers helps break the hold…
Having a beer at The Gingerman and Trinity Hall revealed the venues no worse for the wear in terms of NYE aftermath. The Gman has gotten boring but then I’ve been going there since the early 90’s. Still, they need to keep things fresh and how about some new food menu items? Not to mention cleaning the tap lines.
Tomorrow will be a skeleton crew at InfiddleVestCorp. My group will be two people - I and the weakest staff member, whose wife now has a painful back problem, so I expect him -if he shows up- to cut out early. I’ve got a few things to finish up but barring break/fixes, I’ll be doing my best to screw off.
