I say that because I have not updated in a very long time, and for that I apologize, but I've been really busy. I know that's a lame excuse, but it's all I got, LOL!! Anyway, I couldn't let Summer get any further along with SOME sort of barbecue related update.
I decided this year I would jump on the "retro" bandwagon and got a charcoal grill to go with my gas grill, my electric grill, and that stupid-ass solar powered grill that Paul Nortness built for me. What a fag.
Anyway, the other day I had this craving for hamburgers. No, not McDonald's or any shit like that, but grilled burgers. I got all the necessary ingredients: beef patties, buns, mayonaise, barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, 1000 Island dressing, and of course, Kraft singles.
While shopping for said ingredients, I stumbled upon a discovery that made feel like Indiana Jones when he finds an ancient artifact that he can quickly give to the Nazis. LOL!
A 12-pack of Baron's Beef Bun Burgers 1/4 pound size, is only $5.99!!!! That's less than a dollar a patty!!! Not only that, I suddenly realized that just 1 (ONE!) 1/4 pound burger at Fudd Rucker's is more than that!!
Now, some people count calories, and some count carbs, but I count how much can I justify eating in one sitting based on price, or "Beefstick Bang for the Buck" as I call it, LOL!!!
Therefore, using this standard of measurement, I was able to eat all 12 burgers yesterday with NO GUILT!!! In fact I took the estimated $1.43 I saved and bought a fudgesicle from the ice cream man. Talk about having your burger and ice cream too!! LOL!!!
Now I have to go and file my complaint against Duffy's Restaurant for their blatant false advertising of an "endless buffet". Worst false advertising case since I went and saw "The Neverending Story". I'm not allowed in that theater anymore.
