Three things...
In honour of 'Talk Like A Pirate' day:
Trailer for Pirates! An Adventure with Scientists - which looks bloomin' awesome. The people behind Wallace And Gromit doing Pirates - with a voice cast that includes Brendan Gleeson, Russell Tovey and Imelda Stauton. Need I say anymore?

To be filed under: 'I don't know if I should be flattered or...' - I wore a (tea) dress and knee boots to work on Friday. Smartened up for library tours and also to make sure that the boots were still 'viable' as if I can do a day of tours and not want to cut my feet off at the end of it, then we have a winnar!
Nowt wrong with that per se. We shan't speak of the fact that you can tell I have Irish blood because my knees were whiter than snow as it was too hot for opaques.
Except I find out today that I caused a *hell* of chatter among the male members of staff. All very polite and favourable (so I've been told) but just a *tad* weirded out here!

At the beginning of the Rugby World Cup, Sister Unit #3 put £1 on an Ireland win. Those who laughed at her might not be laughing so loud now...
