Family and other disasters
Sister #2 is due to have her baby on 4th October. Current intel suggests that date may be wrong, as in it might be sooner rather than later but... Still have no idea what zie will be (other than a baby) but I look forward to meeting them.

The rest of the family are as ever. Utterly nuts but in a good way.

TV
I think I have only caught one epsiode of Doctor Who as it's been aired this half of the season. I think it's called 'Having A Life' but I have not had confirmation on this phenomena yet.
Other than that - there is nothing else that is tickling the ol' fancy. Other than a desire to watch the '79 version of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Which I saw at the cinema last night and came out *this* close to wanting to ask for it for yuletide. Review (and flailing) to follow.

I also re-watched the '06 version of Jane Eyre recently as well. Something to do with falling in love with the '11 version (yes, I'm asking for Jane/Rochester fic for yuletide, please try not to faint!)
Did anyone else notice that the young Jane in that is the same lass who played Lucy in The Chronicles of Narnia (2005)?. Which given that her Mr Tumnus was Xavier to the '11's Rochester's Magneto... amused me *greatly*. Also, review (and flailing) for Jane Eyre (2011) also to follow.

Fandom Fings
I daresn't say this too loudly but... I've been 'productive' this week. Trust me, no one is more surprised than me by this. Admittedly it's a drabble (with a longer story to follow) and about 500 words of one part of a Five Things fic (which will be the size fo the Death Star if I ever finish it) but it's words that are nothing to do with film reviews! YAY! (mumbles 'Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...' to self)

Films
I will do a proper movies post soon(ish) - needless to say, both Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and Jane Eyre (2011) are both superb films worth your time. Although can someone let up on all the films coming out at once please? There are only so many hours in a week!

Also, my London Film Festival tickets have come through. So torn_eledhwen I hope you weren't joking about Coriolanus because I has two tickets... As well as one for The Artist, Shame and the 'Surprise Film' as well.
vayshti? What do you and the PLB have?

And that is all I have right now - So, tell me, how are you guys?

tv, other monsters, yuletide, movies, the fic that destroyed tokyo
