i was in charlottesville the other day and there were so many damn scooters driving around that it was actually holding up traffic. this isn't florence people! i'm an american, i have places to be.
come on, just get back in a car already so i can get to my hair appointment on time, or walk on the sidewalk and get out of my way!

perhaps i just don't understand the scooter community because it is not a practical option for myself as fitting two children on board would be cumbersome. i do think i am going to buy a bike to ride to work and exercise though, so i'm not completely opposed to alternative transportation. i am opposed to helmet head though, so i may need to think about this some more.
