hahaha my mom got into a political debate at the gas pump yesterday. she said she was pumping gas and said "it's nice to see gas prices going down" to the guy at the pump next to her. and he says "well if it hadn't been for these damn democrats screwing everything up, they wouldn't have gotten so high in the first place...." and my mom says "EXCUSE ME?!!!!!" she was so fired up just telling me this story that I can only imagine the look on her face when this guy started his brainwashed republican b.s. what a nutcase.
i guess he didn't see the "Warner for U.S. Senate" sticker on her bumper, or maybe he did and it created an unnecessary level of hostile aggression toward my mom. whatever the case, people are crazy. i hope my mom doesn't get into any more brawls as election season gets closer, it could get ugly. i wouldn't worry about her though, i think anyone challenging her gung ho democratic spirit will feel her wrath. look out!
