Well.

It's one thing to "know" that it's gone. To know that it was only a few hundred feet in from the beach and the storm surge was 20'-30' and of course, it's gone.

It's another thing to hear someone who has been down there tell you, "Yeah, it's gone. Nothing left."

It's something else entirely to see it on video.

I just saw the footage of (what's left of) the Biloxi-Ocean Springs bridge. It's completely gone. I didn't know that. I think the Seafood Industry Museum is gone, but the Point Cadet Plaza is still there. I didn't see the J.L. Scott Center on the footage ( Read more... )
