weeks later, and i finally feel my age
this weekend ended completely differently from how it started out.
friday: got a ride home with peter and then went to see levi in the high school's production of The Cradle Will Rock. it was really well done, and what's more it was good to see my brother and hang out with peter. after the play, peter and i tried to find an open place to eat, but it was 9:30 and everything on mercer island closes around 9, so we went to the grocery store and got some fixin's: shredded barbeque chicken, hamburger buns, and hawaiian chips. it was a yummy, homecooked-ish meal. i went to bed earlyish and slept very well.
saturday: i made glorious scrambled eggs with cheese (one of my favorite breakfast foods). then, admidst looking for a car for levi, i bought my own car (i'm afraid that if i embellish more then it will seem less real. but yes, i am now a car owner). then i hung out with emily and we went to see Friends With Money at lincoln cinemas in bellevue. after the movie we ordered pizza and talked until 1am.
sunday: i finished the book i was reading. i got some groceries, a tape adapter for my NEW CAR, and a wireless mouse for my laptop. then i drove, by myself, back up to bellingham.
wow, so the weekend doesn't sound that exciting, but i swear it was.
