happy may day...to those of you who read this.
this morning started out kind of dreary, with a chill in the air and a slight wind blowing the cold about. but this afternoon, the sky cleared and the sun came out. it was still chilly and windy, but i preservered because the sun made me happy.
on a side note, i think i am one of the only students who actually enjoys my english class. this is probably because i am a huge book nerd, and even though i am a lit major (there isn't one creative writing major in the class), i still love writing and love to do it in my spare time (something that i'm sure no one else in the class does). anyway, i guess that's just my little opinion.
this weekend was actually eventful, even though i stayed at school and didn't do that much. peter and i hung out on saturday and went shopping at value village (i got a cute skirt for $2.71). then later that night he came over and we made cookies and watched the south part movie and beauty and the beast. then we talked until 3. it was good to catch up, because ever since he had to move to birnam wood, peter and i haven't really hung out that much. so it was a fun evening.
sunday, brendan came back (he went home for the weekend) and we went for a walk around campus since it was a sunny nice day out.
anyway, i guess that's all for now. i hope the sun will stay for a while!!
