1) Miserably sick. Seems to be what dad was miserably sick with Thursday when I brought him home from work because he didn't feel well enough to drive himself home.
2) Getting buried under more snow. Last year Bangor had 3.5 inches of snow for all of December. This year Bangor is at 20.6 inches and counting.

So, we got 16 inches from the snowstorm Monday-Tuesday. The snowblower threw it's main belt when dad went to use it last night, and we had to call around for someone to plow the driveway for us instead.
