Things that please me, baffle me, and disgust me.

I am very pleased to announce that I have decided on and will soon be ordering my Halloween costume!

I'm going to be a fairy this year!  A Rainbow Fairy to be specific.  I've always loved the feminine costumes like angels, queens, fairies, and stuff.  Last year I was a Renaissance Queen so this year I thought I'd go with something a little more....sparkly!  So excited for the halloween party.  It's gonna be even bigger than last year! Whoo hoooo!

Ok now for the baffled part.  I went to the grocery store today to get a couple things and I had just gotten off work so I was in dress slacks and a blouse.  I knew exactly where all my items were but when one of the workers saw me he nearly tripped over himself to come ask me if I needed any help.  As he got closer I realized he was in his mid 30's and his name tag said he was the STORE MANAGER.  He asks me if I need anything and I politely reply that I'm going to get some garlic bread.  He insists on showing me where it is and as he's walking me there this really cute little girl comes up to him and asks himwhere the cheeseburgers are. He ignores her!  He tells her to hang on one second and kinda nudges her away.  I'm thinking, "Umm hello?  You nearly knock everyone out of the way to help me when I don't need any and then this little girl is brave enough to ask for help and you ignore her!"  Furthermore if he wanted to impress me he sure as hell wouldn't do that by ignoring a little girl!

Now I'm watching Animal Planet and Animal Cops/ Detroit is on.  Tonight is a feature about a mother who was left with 14 puppies!  They were left in a house with no food, water, or utlities.  And another story is about dogs that were found cut, bit, and even dead from being used in fights.  I am so disgusted with any person who would use a innocent helpless animal for their entertainment!  I want to find that person, strip them naked, and let the dogs use their testicles as "bait."  After that I want to hand them from their toe nails an use them as my personal punching bag.  Nothing makes me more livid than seeing animals abused.  Two of my dogs were abused and rescued and I donate to the Humane Society all the time.

On a lighter note.  My baby girl Shelby is watching with me and when the puppies cry she runs up to the TV and stands on her back two legs.  It's almost as if she's checking to make sure they're ok.  Awww...she's adorable.
