Mud is very nice to feel
All squishy-squash between the toes!
I’d rather wade in wiggly mud
Than smell a yellow rose.

Nobody else but the rosebush knows
How nice mud feels
Between the toes.

Remember how my sister fell down our front steps and hurt her foot? Turns out the problem, that horrible noise she heard, was not a bone, but a tendon on the top of her foot snapping. Supposed to hit a play today, "Wallenstein" at Sidney Harmon downtown, but my sister drove up for the event especially, slipped on the front steps, went up into the air, yelped, WAAA! and came down like a sack of potatoes on her right foot.
