The noodles are close to being overdone, but thinking she can risk it, Yukiko moves away from the stove to grab a nearby box of tissues, then heads to the table, where Rise is busy hiding her face, still crying hysterically. Grabbing a handful, she passes them to Rise, who blindly fumbles past the outstretched tissues to simply yank the entire box out of her friend's hand ( ... )

When Rise finally comes out, wiping off the last of her tears and sniffling, it's already getting dark. Looking around though, she's surprised to find not only dinner gone, but the table as well, pushed to the side to make room for the futon now occupying the center of the living space. She feels the insecurity creep up again, just waiting for one of them to say her legs were too fat or her breasts were too small-- but she only feels a pair of lips on either side of her neck, and overwhelmed by the stimuli, Rise can only moan, her body squirming restlessly ( ... )
