I HAVE A PLACE TO BE THIS SEPTEMBER!
I was stressing out earlier because I got an e-mail this morning about a few documents I had forgotten to send in for my application for the Master's program at the University of Alberta, and now I have to go and print one off, sign it, run to a friend's house up a giant hill on the opposite side of town to scan it, then send it off...
AND LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES AGO I GOT AN E-MAIL SAYING THE FOLLOWING:
"Dear Lauren,
I'm pleased to tell you that you have been accepted into the Public History program at Western. Your official letter will follow via regular mail. I am also delighted to tell you that you have been offered an additional $1000 on top of the usual funding as an incentive to accept our offer. If I can answer any questions for you in the meantime, please let me know.
Congratulations!"
