Lately I've been searching for natural sunscreens and I came across this video for a DIY sunscreen. Would you say this is a safe recipe? I'd say so because of the zinc oxide but I'm afraid to just try it out because my skin is very sensitive and prone to sunburning.

Environmental Working Group has analyzed over 600 sunscreens and announced their best and worst for 2011.

My sunscreen of choice, Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch, scored moderately overall but was pinged for health hazards due to the presence of oxybenzone.  Ultimately I don't think I am going to stop buying it because it's the only sunscreen I' ( Read more... )

Are there companies that make body lotion with an SPF higher than 15? I live in FL and SPF 15 isn't going to cut it for me. Or can I just squeeze some sheer sunscreen into my lotion and mix it up real good and use that? Sounds stupid but I never know what products can be mixed together and still work.

+ The first and more urgent is about hair. I have extremely thick hair that is definitely more wavy than straight, but does not have well-defined curls at all.
