Woo! Two days solid spent doing useful things in the library! Getting up at a reasonable hour and not noon! Okay, so the library is looking for assistants again, but they need 1 year's relevant work experience. Is a supermarket relevant? Argh.
Also, do I apply even though it might mean overhaul in the middle of my dissertation? I don't know.

The Five People You Meet in Heaven isn't nearly as good as it was hyped up to be.
Too much use of completely unnecessary CAPS LOCK for shouting which just ruined the dialogue, ended up not really caring about the main character.
It's upset me quite a bit, since I was really looking forward to reading it.

I am a failure as a female. Went into town today to get a nice, reasonably dressy top. Came back with three books (Amnesia Clinic, Vile Bodies and the paperback of The Book of Lost Things because there was extra stuff in it), The Producers DVD (remake) and the VolksWorld Camper & Bus magazine. I have just finished reading John Connolly's The Book of Lost Things and I must highly recommend it to everyone.

I picked it up on Tuesday after it had lain dormant on my bookshelf for a few months, and finished it on the train home today.

You should all read it, for it is wonderful.
