I got a B1 for my geography essay! Yay! You should all be so proud! :P
Okay, so nothing at all has really happened in the last week. Went into uni on Tuesday and was pretty much dead by the end of it (as well as staying at the concert hall to see the open stage with dad, and to see the French harpist man who, although short and French, was rather attractive. Nice eyes.) Went to bed as soon as we got home.
Bought a nice new leather jacket (which will probably fall apart by the end of next week- a button came off tonight) for £30, and two books- If Minds Had Toes by Lucy Eyre and The Ladies of Grace Adieu by Samantha Clarke, which I've just realised is Sam's full name (but without the 'e'- shall have to quiz her).
Was off the rest of the week and had finished both the books by Thursday, so Firday was spent dripping and watching TV.
Saturday, work was hellish. The shelves are pretty much bare, and people seem to take offence at this despite the fact that we're closing in less than a fortnight. If one more person asks when we close I swear I'll... be annoyed. It's on a ruddy great sign as you walk in the door!
Got All The Queen's Men (the movie in which Matt LeBlanc wears a dress with Eddie Izzard) for 99p. How amazing. There are no subtitles or extras, though.
Lindz came over in the evening, along with the Advent Children DVD and has lit a candle of interest as regards Reno, as well as The Mighty Boosh.
Watched Advent Children (with many pauses and rewinds as she tried to explain the basics of FFVII), and a bit of Matt LeBlanc In A Dress.
Spent Sunday morning watching Mighty Boosh, Sunday afternoon doing bugger all at work, Sunday evening watching Might Boosh, and Sunday night having the strangest dreams (which included lesbian astronauts in the Electro outfit as well as very strange ideas incorporating Vince Noir and Closing Down Sales).
Top Gear's back! Did anyone else watch it? It was amazing. Richard just looked incredibly not "I nearly died!" and the dancing girls and the roadworks and James driving the tarmac layer and Jeremy shouting at people and the Margret Thatcher CD made a come back!. I watched most of it curled up in a ball of squee. :D
Actually made it into uni today (yay rocks!) and I wish Paul Routledge wasn't as creepy and beat-nik-y, as he is a brilliant lecturer but the creepyness is a bit off-putting. Met Lynne for lunch (only a week late!) and then headed up to my lab. Nobody there. Frantically phoned Sam, which turned out to be useless as she'd left it in her flat, and we eventually discovered that it wasn't in the quad but in the Gregory Building. We were about half an hour late by this point so we just thought "sod it, we'll go later in the week" and so I buggered off to the concert hall to avoid having to pay a train fare.
Will have to get the 28 day season ticket for the subway, but apparently you need a photo. How rubbish. Do you think an XScape sticker will do? £2.50 cheaper! :D
So, I am off to watch season two of The Boosh, and possibly sleep. Goodnight.
