I have already professed my dislike of American Idol, so this should be no surprise. I'm not sure that it would technically count as a concert, (though it is people performing before a live audience, so....) but $1,000 would not be enough to get me to sit through a taping of American Idol. The few times that I've been forced to be in a room with someone who did want to watch it (aka my mother), I was continually cringing at the awfulness. And while I will admit that there are a few genuinely talented people who do emerge- I do like Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson most of the time- overall? EW.
