The dishes need done, because last night was Cory's night to wash dishes, and he didn't do it.  The kids all went downstairs and watched Spiderman 3, because it just came out on DVD yesterday.  Jeffrey bought it especially for Cory, and it came with a black stretch Spiderman mask.  Cory is loving the mask.  He had a book talk at the library last ( Read more... )

The bad news is that Cory had to sign up for Driver's Ed (classroom) this summer, because the only time it will be offered during the school year is opposite his Advanced Language Arts class.  Then his ALA teacher called last week to let me know that he will not be in the Advanced Language Arts class next year - because you must maintain at least a ( Read more... )

For all intents and purposes, school is over for the year, and it's time for summer vacation.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, the kids have finals at the high school.  Because she did well on her Sophomore Testing, Beth was automatically exempt from finals.  Cory's grades are good enough that he's exempt too.  I have kind of mixed ( Read more... )
