Knock on Wood

Things are going extremely well beween the two of us. I was a little shocked when her friend Sarah said that if I tried anything she would kill me. A little late for that kind of warning, don't ya think? But I know Sarah is just joking with me and being protective of her best friend, which I can respect. But I have no intention of hurting Jen or making her do anything she doesn't want to. (I realize I never posted her name before, but I'm tired of coming up with creative ways to obscure her identity.) If there is one thing I pride myself on from my real father, it's how to be a gentleman, which I learned at an early age. I think I'e managed to mix those virtues with modern sensibilities fairly well, too.

Yesterday we stopped at Crystal's before I took her to work and had some pleasant conversation over some miniature burgers and chicken sandwiches. We both pouted when it was finally time to drop her off for work. After that I went over to Neal's hoping to get a little Halo 2 in, but he's so engrossed with that new Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith game that he seems to have totally forgotten about H2. Normally, I enjoying watching him play video games, but that was putting me to sleep quickly. After that we watched a little CSI, then I left to go pick up Jen from work.

After her shower we watched The Boondock Saints, which she was a little hestitant about, but quickly warmed up to after the first 10 minutes. Unfortunately, my inner ear problems caught up with me after the movie was over and we both agreed it would be best if I went home to get some sleep. She walked me outside and we held each other and kisses for a few minutes before she went back in. The moment I set my phone down in my room she called me to make sure I made it home. I felt so loved, it was great.

And I was right about my friends. They are all extremely disappointed that I won't be making it up for the Kotei. So much, in fact, that they've guilted me into coming now. So I've decided that I'll pawn off some things I don't need anymore to get the cash together. I'm not sure what right now, but I'll think of something.
