(no subject)
Eventful week, only not really. I've recently become very addicted to Kingdom Hearts. I've never been much of a gamer as my parents never believed in letting me have any type of game system (other than Game Gear/Boy) when I was younger. I suppose they figrued I watched enough tv as it was, and I didn't need to spend any more time in front of it.
My friend Derek is still in the hospital recovering from surgery. He went in last week to have several tumours removed. There was a lot of internal bleeding and he lapsed into a coma shortly after the surgery. He awakened the other night, only to relapse. It's so horrible, and I miss him terribly. He was always such a selfless person and always took the time to talk to me, whenever I was feeling down. The world truly needs more persons like him in it. What makes this even more sad is that he was just married but a few weeks ago. *sigh*
Tomorrow should be eventful as always. Thank God for the weekend. Michael and I are going out again tonight, so I am looking forward to that very much. Not quite sure what we're going to do, but I suppose we can always watch a movie if we get desperate. Enthralling, I know.
I still have not heard back from SAO about Alpha Phi Omega. They are being very slow about processing this, and it's getting me a little pissy. If it were the beginning of the term, I could understand the delay as a lot of new organisations are being formed then. But it's almost March, and they should have too much on their plates. BLAH. Hillary has been encouraging me to go through the list of agencies that are looking for volunteers. I've marked a couple places, but I have no called anyone yet. It's because I've been too unmotivated by playing video games. Urgh. Need motivation as always. Perhaps, during Spring Break I will finish recovering. =]
I was ironing my blue Hard Rock Café Madrid shirt, and I succesfully managed to burn a little part of my arm. Ow! Hopefully it will heal soon, but I think I've done enough ironing for a month now.
Alrighty, the bed is calling my name. Or that could just be the voices in my head....
