desertt they call Paris
i feel nauseated and keep gagging. i don't want to eat anything, just looking at food makes me want to throw up. this is a 180 degree turn from yesterday evening. We saw "Julie & Julia" and I LOVED IT. it was so cute. Meryl Streep is absolutely perfect in it. i didn't want this movie to end. it made me hungry. it made me want to cook and eat and be creative and productive in that way. i really want to go see it again. i wanted to go to the new Barnes and Noble (right next to the old one, but fancy with brick and lights outside oh my god i can't remember what street it's on! even though i've taken the bus there frpm 19th/Canyon)
i had something else fun to say but now can't remember what it was.
i need to go lay down. i am taking the day off from studying. will try to read more "Dracula" but i'm kinda bored with it. wanted to finish it by the end of the month but that's not gonna happen, i don't think. It's kinda like Moby Dick in that the ominous presence of the title character prevades the whole book but is more well done/present in Moby Dick than in Dracula. i do like though how Dracula is written totally in the form of letters and journal entries.
True Blood was awsome last night. Poor Bill. i don't care what anybody says, i still love Bill. He gets so little love, and that makes me love him more because he needs every fan he can get! i liked when he got sick for some reason, like i liked seeing him totally vulnerable. i actually had the thought "i hope he doesn't die" cause he was in bad shape but then he was just like "gimmie some blood" to Sookie and everything was fine. i liked how he was like "lets work together and solve this problem" when trying to bring Tara back. another favorite part was at the very end when he was entering the queen's palace, all slow mo and badass and shit. i was like "Walk it out, Bill, walk it out!!"
i'm a Bill fangirl for sure. Eric gained a few points, we the pumps comment and his bigger sense of humor and is crying over Godric, but then he lost those points when he resumed his role as a sly ass motherfucker and lied and tricked Sookie into drinking his blood.
on the other hand, i can't stop watching Sookie's EricSex dream sequence from last week, so i don't know what to make of that. i don't like where that storyline is going though, and feel so sad for Bill, as it looks like he will lose Sookie to Eric :(=
