something afoot
So I found myself asking myself a question: what could fill in the blank in "_______ is a young man's game and an old man's racket". And the first answer that popped into my head was villainy. But then the second answer that popped into my head was pooping. And then I thought about it and realized that those two things are really just one answer. After all they both involve creating something dark and sinister out of something pure and wholesome. And while both acts may provide a deep personal satisfaction when successfully completed, nobody else really ever wants to bear witness or be involved in any way (barring victims of coprophilia and stockholm syndrome).
