Nice. Not too terribly stressful. A couple of large tasks accomplished.

Completed a six-month "extra-curricular" course at the N&O.
Dinner w/ saspenguin and Jason.
Moved out of Whitaker Park, along with several other people. Found out there have been a variety of dates thrown around for people to move out, such as "right now." It was claimed, however, that ( Read more... )

As previously mentioned, Whitaker Park was sold last year for redevelopment. In the last seven days, demolition has started with houses on Guilford Circle, the upper part of Wayne Drive and along Pine Drive getting knocked down by backhoes.

Robin and I took some photos of the detritus that I'll post later.

badger may not have a line of site view, but I imagine he and the freshly birthdayed maegwynn will hear the pending implosion of the old Clarion across from Crabtree Valley Mall Sunday at 7:30 a.m. to make way for Soleil. [1]

Raleigh Flickr is discussing being there. The added bonus is it will not be below freezing for this one.
