It's about time I got my netbook's internet connection working properly again. It's been screwy for the last two weeks, and refused to connect with any kind of reliability. Looks like AVG was the troublemaker, so I ditched it for another program. Programme fail, but connection issues solved.
I'm chilling out at the BoE this week, since the schools are on spiring vacation. My Osaka trip isn't until May, so I have a while to go yet before I get a decent vacation.
Speaking of vacations, I have my air travel booked for the summer. I'll be getting to San Diego on the 19th of July, two days before Comic Con. I'll fly to Canada after Comic Con is over, and head back to Japan a few weeks later. Comic Con hotel booking was a bitch as always, but at least I was able to book something BEFORE the clusterfuck rush to book through the CC website. After the trauma of hotel-booking last year, just having it DONE is a load off my mind.
Scott Pilgrim is an awesome comic. The trailer for the Scott Pilgrim movie looks equally awesome. As in "OMG EXCUSE ME WHILE I WATCH IT TEN MORE TIMES" awesome. So of course, it OBVIOUSLY has to come out the day I fly back to Japan this summer. SO UNFAIR.
