Deaths/Violent Incidents (on Barge)
- Elric
reported that after killing Ardent last week, a malevolent force (explained
here in greater detail by Narvin) was compelling people to attack him. Several people (including
Omega and
Buffy Summers) reported the force compelling people to attempt murdering Elric, including Drake Stone, Omega, and Marco Campbell. Although the “curse” was allegedly unstoppable, Spike was able to break it and informed the other wardens
here.- Edward Nygma
announced that he attacked Arthas Menethil in retaliation for acts he’d committed against Nygma earlier. He has stepped down as Eddie Brock’s warden for the time being (has anyone stepped up to be an interim warden for him?), and after facts about the incident were provided
here by Bruce Wayne, where wardens voted on whether he should be demoted, put on probation or otherwise punished for his actions. Bruce
detailed his punishment, with a proposed solution to dealing with these situations should they arise in the future.
- Coyo killed Martha while the two were in the CES as reported
here. Martha made it clear that it was largely unintentional, no one else was injured, and Coyo was put in Zero after the fact.
Information/Warnings
- On May 17th,
questionnaires about the nature of Barge comas were passed under what I assume were everyone’s doors with instructions to deliver them to Eddie Russett for continued research on the subject, with promises to keep the information strictly confidential.
Breach
On May 17th, the Barge experienced enough turbulence to apparently trigger a hull breach, where we were put in a town in the American West after the American Civil War (presumably May of 1867). Since I’m not actually sure how many of the unidentified people responsible for some of these incidents were from the Barge, I figured it would be a safer bet to report on everything just to get it all out there.
During the breach:
- Eddie Nygma’s counterpart (Edelyn Wayne) was
attacked by an unidentified assailant. She was uninjured, but the assailant wasn’t caught. Anyone know anything about it?
- Jane Brunswick’s counterpart
reported that fifty head of cattle were stolen from her ranch.
- Reaver’s counterpart
reported that Desaid (who I assume was the Marquis) shot a man in the back. I’m not sure if this was entirely true or had any further action taken on it, so if anyone wants more information, I’m not the person to ask.
- Miss Parker was murdered by Mark Hoffman’s counterpart, Henry Rogers. Omega’s counterpart
reported her death.
- Jim Kirk, Tim Drake and I chased down Hoffman/Rogers and were able to bring him into custody. While attempting to bring him in, Hoffman wounded Tim and was shot non fatally once by myself and once by Kirk, after which he surrendered. He spent the remainder of the breach in the town jailhouse. The full report is
here.- Cooper
reported that the train was nearly robbed by some bandits a few miles out of town, but he was able to scare them off.
- The Seventh Doctor’s counterpart was murdered by his brother, the Mayor who later
fled town as reported by O’Brien.
- Just before the breach ended, there was a bank robbery in town, but by whom and what actually happened I’m not sure, since no one’s done any follow up reports on it and I didn’t witness the incident personally.
I’m sure there was more going on, but as I was a little preoccupied for most of the incident, I’d appreciate people filling in on anything I’ve missed out. I also assume any punishment for any trouble makers can be talked out as a group or between warden and inmate, but since we weren’t exactly ourselves and this is the first incident like this I’ve been around for, I’m not sure exactly how this sort of thing is handled.
Arrivals
Wardens: Fred
Inmates: Chloe
Departures
None that have been reported.
[ooc: I’m not including Ray or Moriarty’s disappearances because they haven’t been publically announced yet, but let me know if I’m missing anything, since I was technically on hiatus for the first few days this report covers.]
