stuff! and things!
doctor who. I LOVE EVERYONE. i think this might be the greatest season of television of all time. i mean, there are some other pretty solid seasons out there, but none that blow my mind or made me freak out so much as i was watching them. i hope the rest of it lives up to my exceedingly high expectations, but i trust moffat not to fuck it up.
battlesheep galactica. i finished last weekend! so, the last eight episodes. the first six are good! the seventh is eh. the eighth is pretty terrible omg. karaaaaaaaaaaaa. basically once kara kills herself the show goes to shit and never really redeems itself for me, except sort of during gaeta's uprising when she is like the old kara and lee is like the old lee and there's lots of punching assholes in the face. (fuck you, racetrack.)
robin hood. now i am watching the bbc robin hood because i love all robin hoods. i thought this would be some nice light tv since bsg definitely was not, but theemdash has informed me that this show is going to crush my soul. AWESOME. i'm on about episode six and i just love all their faces SO MUCH OMG. marian is so fucking awesome in this version, i can't even. THE NIGHT WATCHMAN, YOU GUYS. (i am adding more robin hoods to my netflix queue now. it is full of AMAZING things! weeeeee!)
tangled. IS THE BEST OMG. thieves, you guys! i love them all! i'm trying to think of a fictional boyfriend (or girlfriend, now that kara fucking thrace has forced my hand) who is not a lawbreaker to some degree, and i am coming up short. i can't believe it took me this long to realize i have a thing for bad boys. but bad boys with hearts of gold! it's an important distinction!
pottermore. it's pretty cool! it's actually broken right now, but it's been really interesting to watch the houses grow. it's still kind of weird to me that ravenclaw is by far the biggest house. i wonder how that will change when it gets opened up to the public. (the new stuff is pretty interesting (♥mcgoogles) and the art is still gorgeous. dueling was fun but has been offline for ages. potions is fucking hard.) i've been doing my part by commenting with wizard rock lyrics wherever i can.
dragon*con. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i can't wait! i hope i can finish across the universe at my show on tuesday so that i can at least have both of my book club books done. it doesn't look like i'm going to finish either of the rachel caine books i want to finish before con though, which is a bummer. but my costumes are done, i have one shirt i need to fix the sleeves on, almost everything has been purchased, my packing list is typed up... just need to make a schedule (will handle that at work) and actually pack everything. :D :D :D
