I must be on a roll. LOL
I worked as usual last night. I went out to a local place with some co-workers after work for a karaoke night. I was gonna sing but didn't make it up there (ran out of time). One of my co-workers did, however, and he has quite the rock voice. One guy sang the hell out of some Stone Temple Pilots twice and I was impressed.
I am planning to go again next week, and I have decided that I will either do some Billy Idol or Joan Jett. You think those are good ones? I was leaning towards 'Crimson & Clover' or 'Do You Wanna Touch Me', or 'Eyes Without a Face' or some other Idol song.
As a result, I didn't get home until after 4 last night and stayed in bed most of the day sleeping. Hey, I had earned it after the way I felt this week.
Oh, and BTW, one of the co-workers I went out with last night was the one I mentioned in brief in my last post. I know..... the irony didn't escape me, either. I must be a glutton for punishment, yeah?
Stayed in today, ate pizza for the first time in MONTHS and watched a LOT of 'Avengers' episodes, including one that was banned in States back in the day (I guess the appearance of Emma Peel in a black corset, lace up boots and spiked collar was too much for the censors....)- one of two as I have since learned. I guess we've come a long way since '66. :)
Well....preparing for my nightly dose of 'Avengers'- almost onto the color series now. Can you say overload? LOL And I still have four more DVD volumes to go through by next Friday (thank goodness for being able to renew them online form the library....), so there are more late nights in my future....:)
BTW- if anyone has seen the Tara King episodes, could you tell me how you would rate them? I have really enjoyed the Gale and Peel ones, and would hate to be disappointed if I was to check htem out.
