Nope. Not dead...so no one gets my music collection just yet.
But there were a couple of days this week that I wish I *had* been dead. For I had the worst allergy aatck so far this year for the better part of the week, and am actually just getting over the worst of it. BTW, my Mom swears I don't have allergies, but that's another story....
So this week was spent getting more sleep than one adult should have to make up for (meaning I was in bed pretty much by 11:30 or 12 every night) and medicating myself long enough to make it through my four closing shifts this week. Not even any long 'Avengers' marathons at night barring tonight- could never stay awake long enough.
Yup, I worked through the throes of a major attack and didn't call in sick though yesterday I SORELY wanted to. I was not a happy camper at all...but people had been calling in sick all week and no one would have been able to cover for me. (Well........ they would have found someone eventually but I am trying to get a decent review over the next two and half weeks for my raise).
But the simple fact is I am still alive, though very groggy from meds and long hours at work, which no doubt will be the same next week. :)
I finally got the two Japan cd's I have been waiting *ages* for (Tin Drum and Obscure Alternatives), though 'Gentlemen.....' is *still* on order, and all my Eno cd's are in as well. I finally picked up 'Taking Tiger Mountain (by Strategy)' and 'Here Come the Warm Jets'. I also got my Panic! at the Disco cd as well as two of my yaoi manga on order (at LAST) and two of my Johnathon Rhys-Meyers movies. So while it's been busy, it has also been fruitful. Gives me something to do over the next two days off. :)
