Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I know what you're thinking.
He said he'd write back but he took so damned long. For that, I am sorry. I'm sure most of my friends on here are long gone, but this journal was never about having an audience, it was more therapeutic for me myself and I to get things out of my system and rant and embrace life and reject life and everything in between. So... a lot has changed since we last spoke. Just to fill you in... (*uhem* again!)
I broke up with Julian a few months ago (long personal story so I won't go into it, but we are both still friends.) Started talking to Cody again (as a friend, that is, which is perfect.) Everyone's happy and learning and improving their own lives and I think that's great. Love can wait. I need to focus on myself at the moment, and so do other people!
So I moved to the mountain town of Glendora (about 30 mins Northeast of Los Angeles) near the San Gabriel Mountains. I am loving it here. It's overcrowded, pricey, but not as pricey and overcrowded as L.A. And I love living up in the mountains where the deer roam free and the odd birds growl at night. Sometimes I wake up in a wonderland of heavy thick fog and raccoons and peacocks on my lawn. It's incredible. At any rate, life is going as good as can be expected. My career kind of sucks at the moment but (as always, seemingly) but I'm working on that. ;)
The past few years have been filled with work highs and lows, a five year relationship, and lots of reflection and moving across the country to find myself again at the age of 36. Also still editing my 4 novels to send them around to publishing houses, so wish me luck there.
Hope you are all doing well. Miss you all and I'll try not to be such a *gasp* stranger...
Btw, I just glanced at my user info... I started my LiveJournal back in March 2001 and this year marks the tenth anniversary of my LJ Blog. Wow. 10 years on LJ. Crazy! I'll try to keep posting more often.
Love,
*B*
