Long Time No See (Again.)
Hey guys! What's up? I know you probably never thought you'd hear from me again, but here I am, resurrected from the semi-dead. (hehe) I literally haven't logged into my LJ account for over a year or more. Just wanted to give u all a heads up and let u know I am still alive, yes, and things are going quite nicely. Just to update u quickly on my life and fast-forward you through what's been going on... Cody and I broke up last Summer (we were together 5 years.) It was a very sad time for me but the writing was on the wall I guess. His 8 surgeries over the past 5 years really took it's toll on us. He broke up with me last July, and I basically lived with him until November. During this time I got close to my friend Julian (who I knew from MySpace and Facebook, primarily, for the past 3 years.) He and I realized (in the healing process of getting over Cody) that he and I had so much in common that it would be stupid not to start dating (once I had gotten over Cody, of course.) I went to see him in December (he lives in California near Los Angeles) and we hit it off so well. I went to see him again 2 weeks ago for nearly 2 weeks and we had such a blast. We celebrated his 40th birthday in style and got to spend a lot of quality time together... So yes, I am very happy about the direction my life is going now. I also still work for Starbucks (have been with them about 8 years now.) I am moving out to California (near Pasadena) in mid-April (not only to be closer to Julian but because I've wanted a change in my life for the longest time now and have tried to move so many times in the past and got sidetracked in relationships and jobs.) Well, here's my chance! Can't wait for the second half of my life to start and thank u guys for being there for me throughout the years, even though I haven't posted much in the past 3 years. Just wanted u to know I am still here and very much alive and thriving and surviving ;) I'll start posting more, too, if I see I still have friends and (uhem, fans?) on here. Let me know.
