... I got my postcard back from DAW yesterday. It said that they recieved my ms on 4/26. (You know, the one that I sent on 2/14.)

So I entered the fangs_fur_fey hook contest on Thursday night; they were opening for submissions at 12:01am Eastern time, which is 9pm out here on the left coast. I waited until my computer's clock said 9:05 just to make sure I wasn't bounced, and then sent it ( Read more... )

Which went surprisingly easy, once I'd gotten started. I was actually able to use more of it than I'd remembered; the second para was fine. The first was just taking Miss Snark's advice on how to not bury my lead, and put in the threats that Arhi will be facing in the course of the story.
