Yep, the infinity "never" panel in Skip 34 is indeed in the Japanese version. In kanji, of course. I couldn't make the actual infinity symbol work with the type-along-a-line option. I had to do it all by hand, manipulating each letter as an image. *wince* I spent a good 5 hours on that one page. *headdesk*

Also, the sand writing. By the time I finished vol 34, I absolutely LOATHED the sand writing. Believe me when I say there is no photoshop shortcut to making sand writing. *headdesks again*

Good thing I love my job, eh? ^^

I gotta remember to pick up Library Wars 13!

Oh my goodness, the sand writing was great!!! It fit right in naturally-I knew that could only be achieved by your painstaking stippling labours!! Thank you for it. It really made the already-great scene even better, at least for this over-aware reader, since it didn't look jarringly font-ish or manipulated. (just disregard the fact that in spite of its natural appearance, I was distracted from the actual scene by how well-done it was. good lettering is something I delight in, so I very consciously chose to be distracted :D ) The Never Ever panel was also excellently done to match all the ridiculous effects in the original!!

It's pink and purple, actually. ^^ You know, hilighter colors. XD The big sand writing pages and the infinity page were both purple, which is the worst it can get. *wince ( ... )

So glad you, a fellow excellent letterer, enjoyed my sand writing recreation! :D Thankfully I "only" had to do each different writing once, and if it reappeared on another page, I could copypasta..with some tweaks to make it look okay. :P

I've been thinking, and I do believe the Valentine's Day chocolate was worse. It was less labor-intensive to create, but then I had to do the rearranged version, and then it kept appearing over and over and OVER again. Also I was an idiot and forgot to save a for-pasting-in copy of it w/o being transformed for perspective, so I had to use the squashed version for everything, and that was a pain. Talk about learning a lesson the hard way. *wince*

Again, so glad you appreciate my efforts!! Lettering goes unnoticed almost all the time. I'm happy for any positive feedback! :DDDD

Yikes. It does show that a lot of care is in this particular panel. I remember you said something about red/purple pages - this and sand writing are the pages, right?
There's a flash back from volume 6 when Kyoko was rude to Ren. I always wonder why the fist and not the original? Is it for the rating?

Thanks for the story. Now after the Cain sibling, Skip Beat is getting so racy that seems tame in comparison? I didn't know the raised fist is an insult as well - looking up - a thumping - ha ha Kyoko is threaten to beat up Ren - that's funny :D
