  1. The Daughters of Mannerling 3: The Deception by M. C. Beaton (Marion Chesney)
     - Borrowed from bpl
     - Regency Novel. Story of Abigail - 1 of the twins.
     - Fast read, entertaining. I'm glad all wells that ends well.
     - The governess seemed to belong to high society and she's in disguise - who knows why.
     - Mannerling started to show some disturbing things
  2. What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions by Randall Munroe
     - Borrowed from bpl
     - Read by Wil Wheaton
     - Very enjoyable and funny at times read.
     - author has a web comics here
  3. Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke
     - Borrowed from bpl - mp3
     - Read by Brendan Fraser
     - Very fun story of dragons and other creatures, human included.
• Manga:
  1. He's my only vampire 1 by Aya Shouoto
     - borrowed from ILL
     - Beautiful art. Funny at times. There seems to be a werewolf appearing at the end of vol 1. Will continue to borrow.
  
  Some Viz manga arrived last Saturday! I was busy over the weekend so I was able to read only 3 below.
  
  2. Skip Beat! 34 by Yoshiki Nakamura
     - So many favorite moments. Kyoko and the president - cat and mouse game :)
     - Ren coming out of water reminds me of Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice heh!!!! I can't find words to describe how much I like the series.
     - The infinity "NEVER" panel - even though it's just words, it's one of my favorite panels in this book and there are many. Is it in Japanese version as well? if not I wonder what the Japanese version is like.
     - Highly recommended :)
  3. Library Wars 13 by Kiiro Yumi
     - Lots of cute moments.
     - Tezuka siblings.
     - I don't trust Tezuka elder. I think he's scheming something bad.
     - Romance progressing nicely for more than 1 couple :)
  4. Meteor Prince 2 - the end by Meca Tanaka
     - Trouble makers - love rival and sibling complex :).
     - Very cute series. I'm glad it ends with 2 volumes and not dragging on. I hope it does well so the author's current series may have a chance.

• English license News from Yen 11 series see via Manga Bookshelf for all of them. Here are some that I'm excited about:
  • Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun! by Izumi Tsubaki, 6 volumes ongoing
  • Sakura no Himegoto by Akira Hagio, 2 volumes complete, author of Sugar Family, which I read the first 2 volumes, own the whole series but haven't finished yet!
  • Handa-Kun by Satsuki Yoshino, is a prequel to Barakamon, digital only, I will get it.
  • Yowamushi Pedal by WATANABE Wataru, 39 volumes ongoing, I may borrow from library first
