It's pink and purple, actually. ^^ You know, hilighter colors. XD The big sand writing pages and the infinity page were both purple, which is the worst it can get. *wince*
Ahh yes, the flipped middle finger turned to a thrust-up fist. Story time!
That scene has appeared in Skip twice. The one in vol 6 was a flashback to when it actually happened, in vol 4 after Kyoko drops Corn-the-stone down the stairwell and Ren picks it up. I lettered vol 4 back in the first year of working on Skip, and at least the early volumes of the manga were being sold through school book clubs and at school book fairs. The flipped finger had to go, for fear of offending someone and losing that source of revenue. We also changed all the "damn"s to "darn"s, and possibly removed any references to "hell", too. We stopped the curse removal a while ago. IDK about the flipped finger, though. If one appeared in a new volume, I'd say the odds are 50/50 I'd have to take it out.
(Luckily the raised fist is an insult in the US, though not as well known as the raised middle finger.)

Thanks for the story. Now after the Cain sibling, Skip Beat is getting so racy that seems tame in comparison? I didn't know the raised fist is an insult as well - looking up - a thumping - ha ha Kyoko is threaten to beat up Ren - that's funny :D

I guess it has to be for consistency.
