Back at home and feeling great.

Well, my five fighters all did incredible jobs at the Budoukai. Mikomi seems to be getting all of the glory for her win. It's a good thing she's got her father and Vez to keep her in line, because the rest of us just keep piling on the praise. ^_~ Tanomi didn't do badly himself; his match with Gokou was quite exciting, as was my husband's with Piccolo. Poor Trunks got beaten by 18 early on, but Tanomi talked to him that evening and he looked like he felt much better after that, thank goodness. And Bra did very well for herself, making it all the way to the semifinals!

As exciting as all of those matches were, I'm glad things are settling down around here again. It's about time for the kids to start preparing for school, anyway.

Bra and I had an afternoon of educational fun yesterday when Gokou brought Ubuu here to visit so we could figure out what to do to help his village. We took some topographical maps and climate statistics and a rough headcount and came up with a system that should prove to be rather effective, environmentally friendly, and somewhat cost-efficient as well. I love mother-daughter projects like that, and Ubuu is quite the well-mannered boy. He puts all of us in this household to shame. But then again, that's a pretty easy thing to do, isn't it? ^_^

At any rate, I ought to get some sleep. I've got to get some orders in to the warehouses early in the morning.
