A/N: Double drabble.
“Jack?” said Ianto, coming into Jack’s office.
“Ianto!” Jack beamed at his lover. “What can I do for you this fine day?”
Frowning, Ianto held something up. “What is this?”
Jack was very skilled at appearing innocent of any wrongdoing; he put on his best ‘butter wouldn’t melt’ expression. “One of my shirts?”
“I’m aware of that.” Ianto shook the garment out so the green streaks on the pale blue fabric were more clearly visible. “What I want to know is where these stains came from. You went out earlier, told me it was a simple retrieval, but when I went to do the laundry, this was already in the machine. It wasn’t there an hour ago.”
“So I changed when I got back. You get mad at me when I drip egg on my collar and don’t change, and now you’re mad at me because I DID change?”
“You were gone for over an hour, came back with grass stains all over your shirt, and then you tried, unsuccessfully, to hide it from me. What aren’t you telling me? Were you attacked?”
Jack blushed. “No, but I might have rolled down a hill a few times.”
Ianto sighed. “Typical.”
