Every step stirred up the dust of decades, making the Doctor sneeze loudly. The whole place had an air of abandonment.
“Blimey,” Donna said. “Someone forgot to pay the cleaners. Where are we?”
“The Palace of Archimboole. There was a time it was considered the most beautiful building in the Seven Realms.”
“Looks a bit tired now. Why not bring me here when it looked its best?”
“In its prime we wouldn’t have got past the security systems.” The Doctor flung open a set of doors. “What d’you think of that, then?”
Donna caught her breath at the sight. “Magnificent!”
