“Nothing to worry about,” the Doctor said airily. “Just a minor glitch.”
“You call this minor?” Donna asked incredulously; the TARDIS console room was rapidly filling with smoke.
“We just need to set down somewhere for repairs. This planet will do fine, all we need is an island and… There.” The TARDIS settled with a jarring thud and the door swung open, admitting clean, fresh air.
Donna stumbled outside, half blinded by the smoke, and almost fell in the ocean. “Oi, spaceman! You call this an island? It’s the size of a postage stamp!”
“It’s better than nothing.”
“Good point.”
