Summary: Growing weaker by the day, Buffy fears what might happen to her now she’s lost her Slayer strength.

A/N: Double drabble.
This is wrong; Buffy’s Slayer strength has deserted her, leaving her as weak and helpless as any normal teenage girl.
Giles ums and ahs, promises they’ll get to the bottom of whatever’s causing the anomaly, but doesn’t seem to be doing anything and in the meantime, she just keeps getting weaker.
She’s gotten used to having super-strength and agility, being able to take on vampires twice her size and wipe the floor with them while hardly breaking a sweat, but right now she’s an easy target. If the vamps and demons find out she can no longer defend herself, they’re not gonna wait around for her to regain her strength; it’ll be open season on the Slayer, and then… Bye-bye Buffy.
She’s not ashamed to admit she’s scared; she’s supposed to be the one who stands between the people of Sunnydale and the monsters who want to snack on them. It’s her job to be their protector, but now she’s the one who needs protecting.
She feels like a bird that’s forgotten how to fly, a Dodo maybe, waddling about on the ground, at the mercy of predators and on the verge of becoming extinct. She wants her wings back.
