...got slightly drunk (and slightly obnoxious) while playing texas hold'em (not too badly i might add) with three philosophers (philosophy students?) who have awesome apartments and a doctor (med student?) who thinks surgery is boring.
...met my dog (cassy) reincarnated. except i think this dog (shatzy (sp?)) isn't quite young enough for that. but she is certainly ADORABLE ENOUGH for that. i was only around her for a few hours but i love that dog.
...went to reading terminal market (for the first time!) with john, where we bought: (cheap, semi-yummy) pad thai; a (cheap, very yummy (strawberrybanananutella)) crepe; a (ninety-nine-cent) bag of (very pretty) red potatoes; nine dollars worth of (extremely yummy (artisinal, cave-aged "pennsylvania noble")) cheese (from a charming quaker man (who showed us pictures (on his digital camera) of the pastries he makes with his cheese (from a recipe that is over 100 years old))).

...ate (the yummiest) gingerbread (i've ever eaten) for breakfast two days in a row. (yay for the met!)
...read all but twenty-or-so pages of the lady in the lake (raymond chandler) in one night. (it's really good.)

...slept (a lot).
...cuddled (a lot).
...did other things, mostly fun, a few not so fun, but all basically happy-making (because of the company (yes i mean you)).
