Yeah, I get this... but this has always seemed to me... less... creepy than spanking. More of a thing you could conceivably do in public and get away with. The spanking not so much.

Although, honestly, all the talk of NCIS + Spanking brought that to mind immediately, and I just couldn't resist posting that GIF. =3

I'm pretty sure I've slapped people before, but I've never thought "Gee whiz, I just slapped Joey on the shoulder, now I MUST whack him on the buttocks!"

I have a few friends who I playfully beat on (slap upside the head/arm, punch on the arm or shoulder, etc.), but I've never thought "Wow, you really told a bad joke! Get over my knee right now!" That's just awkward and weird... =P
