Therapy

A couple of weeks ago, I filled in a planner of my week with my 'baseline' of what I was doing on a daily basis. We then went through it and planned in daily/weekly activities for body care, achievement, communicating and enjoyment.

Last week, I filled in an hourly planner - colour coded, dontcha know - and we reviewed it this morning.

My therapist is really pleased with me! I was able to do 80 or so% of what we planned and there was a good mix of each of the colours. We've identified I need to pay more attention to body care on the weekend - so this week's plan is to keep doing it and make sure I remember to look after me at the weekend.

I always want to try and do more unwinding before bed - don't go from sitting here, watching TV, chatting online to trying to sleep. Take time to unwind, make a ritual of sorts out of taking meds, washing, getting into bed with a book.

So we're going to keep at this level for a couple of weeks then build on it again. At the moment it's a lot of experimentation - does x help, how does y make me feel etc, what impact does z have on my energy levels
