I swear all I've done the last couple days is drive up and down the M6. I'm exhausted!

Sunday, I took mum to the Hippodrome to see Joseph. It's been my favourite musical since I was like 9 years old. This was the 4th time I've see it, 4th different cast and they were awesome. I mean, I've got like 5 or 6 different bootleg recordings as well and this is the best performance I've heard bar the original west end cast

Joseph was being played by Keith Jacks from the Any Dream Will Do tv show. This made me wary because he was never one of my favourite of the contestants - always thought he was a little young, didn't have enough control.

He was really good.
I got very nervous when he started Close Every Door because to me he sounded weak on the TV show but a couple of years later with more practice and experience and he BLEW me away.

Then, yesterday, I was back in Birmingham for a job interview.

This morning, I got a phone call from one of the agencies I was registered with saying they had a job starting Monday but it was in Stourbridge, was I prepared to do the journey?
I said to her honestly that I didn't know, had never been to Stourbridge.
I drove to mum's, she jumped into Lotte with me and... yup, we drove to Stourbridge. It took about 35 minutes, nice country road drive. Found the place easily, called back and yup, I start at Monday lunchtime.
£8.50 an hour, but they're going to try and get it to closer to £10 for me allowing for my travel costs.
It's a temp contract til at least the end of the year

HURRAH!
